Ceramic types are considered to be the cleanest and thus the safest option. This is because ceramics can resist a high range of temperature of about 3000*F. But one has to be very careful about the quality of the ceramic unit. If a heating element is termed as ceramic, it only means that the unit may be constituted of some ceramic but it does not mean that air touches the ceramic material. Thus you must know the design specifics of the ceramic unit or else you fill face great problem while buying it. A few good quality vaporizers using ceramic heating element are Hotbox and Vapor Brothers. Aluminum is also a good heating element and some of the most popular vaporizers use it. As it responds to temperature changes faster than the ceramics, it is more precise than ceramic elements. But many think that it is harmful as exposure to aluminum poses health risks.
